Pumpkin Spice Latte

Warm, creamy, cozy, and made with actual pumpkin. This homemade pumpkin spice latte brings all the fall-coffee-shop vibes without turning your morning coffee into dessert. A little pumpkin purée, warm spice, and maple syrup make it rich and satisfying—and you get to decide exactly how sweet you want it.

MAKES 1 latte | PREP 2 min | COOK 5 min

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup plant-based milk (I love cashew milk here)

  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin purée

  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1–3 tsp pure maple syrup, to taste

  • Hot brewed coffee, to taste

Let’s Make It

  1. Add the milk, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, and maple syrup to a small saucepan.

  2. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until hot and just beginning to simmer. Don't let it boil.

  3. Add your desired amount of hot brewed coffee directly to the saucepan.

  4. Remove from the heat and use a handheld frother to blend everything together until creamy and beautifully frothy.

  5. Pour into your favorite mug, sprinkle with a little extra pumpkin pie spice if you're feeling fancy, and enjoy immediately.

No Frother? No Problem.

You can also blend everything together in a blender until smooth and frothy. Use caution when blending hot liquids—don't overfill the blender, allow steam to escape, and follow your blender manufacturer's instructions for hot ingredients.

Amy's Make-Ahead Trick

Double or triple the milk, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, and maple syrup mixture and keep it refrigerated in a sealed container for up to a week.

When you're ready for a latte, heat a portion of your pumpkin milk, add freshly brewed coffee, froth, and you're out the door with fall in a mug. ☕🎃

Make It Yours

Prefer it less sweet? Start with just 1 teaspoon of maple syrup. Want more fall spice? Add an extra sprinkle on top. Like a stronger coffee flavor? Use less pumpkin milk or add an extra splash of coffee.

Real pumpkin. Real ingredients. Really damn good coffee.
